This week is slightly different because, for the first time, our school photographers are joining us at Hayesfield. They are meeting the professional photographer, Nick, and are learning a few new tricks!!
Last week Pete decided to give us the week off after our SATs (hooray they are finally OVER!) but we were not that happy as we only have this rehearsal left before the production!
We are also delighted to bring along Emily Horton, our manager! who is excited to have a sneak preview!

Harriet's Blog Update! 21/5/09
Ben's interview
I interviewed Ben Shooter-Page who is playing Bruno in the Egg Project.
Q: Why do you think that you were chosen for the Egg?
A: I am an overall good actor, according to the Egg people.
Q: Why do you think that you were chosen to be Bruno?
A: Because I am good at eating things disgustingly!
Q: What character would you like to be if you weren't Bruno?
A: The Boy
Q: What is your favourite scene in the play?
A: When I am outside the hotel and my dad is shouting at me.
I hope this interview has told you more about the Egg project.

Harriet's Blog update!
The 'Egg Heads' as some people call them have got funky T-shirts, which they have been modelling around school!
The black T-shirts, which has the School Frenzy logo on the front and '09 The Witches' on the back, help pupils to identify the School Frenzy actors at Newbridge as the writing can be seen throough the white polo shirts that Newbridge wear!
Also a few days ago the 'Egg Heads' stood up in front of Miss Amies and Miss Skyner's literacy groups and answered lots of questions about their play and what they thought of it. This was to help the literacy group learn about taking notes on interviews. Elliot and Emma revealed that they got the main parts in the play! Elliot is playing 'Boy', who is the main character in Roald Dahl's book 'The Witches' (which the 'Egg Heads' are doing) and Emma is playing 'Grandma'!!

8th May 2009
Each week Emma, Elliot, Grace, Hannah, Hannah, Ava and Ben and Isaac go to Hayesfield School in two taxis to rehearse for our production of The Witches by Roald Dahl.
Last week we got our special Egg t-shirts which we will wear every week. We also went over scene 1 in more detail. Scene 1 involves all the cast and the main characters are Emma and Elliot who have shown great professionalism because Emma has to be grandmotherly towards Elliot!
The rehearsals are hard work but very enjoyable. We have all become much closer and are looking forward to putting on the final performance, which will be the week after the Isle of Wight.
